Based in Brisbane, we work with overseas, interstate, and remote clients who need someone local to communicate, follow up, attend in person, or report back on what’s happening. 

I’m Ray, the founder of CheckConnect. The idea came from my own experience.

While living and working in Asia, I wanted to start or buy a business back in Australia. But I kept running into the same problem. I needed someone reliable on the ground who could follow instructions, deal with people locally, check things when needed, and report back clearly. Friends and family couldn’t always help, and finding someone capable for this kind of practical work was harder than it should have been.

I looked at accountants, lawyers, and consultants too, but they were often too specialised or expensive for the kind of gap-filling local support I needed. I didn’t need a 50-page report. I needed someone who could understand the brief, do what was agreed, and tell me clearly what happened.

That’s why I created CheckConnect: to give people a trusted local presence in Australia without needing permanent staff, an office, or making the trip themselves.
